Safety Star Program – GIVE Sustainable
On 12 September 2025, in Phong Lac Hamlet, Dong Tien Hai Commune, Hung Yen Province — a community of 37,027 residents — GIVE Sustainable and Andy Lin, Ambassador of the Safety Star Program, implemented a series of community health and safety initiatives.
🎗 About the Safety Star Program
The Safety Star Program (SSP) is an initiative by GIVE Sustainable that aims to bring basic first-aid knowledge to communities in a simple, accessible format.
Andy Lin was selected as the SSP Ambassador for his sense of responsibility, commitment to community work, and his determination to introduce first-aid awareness to his mother’s hometown.
🎁 A Gift Made Possible by His Grandmother
This project was funded through years of lì xì (New Year gift money) saved and entrusted to Andy by his grandmother, Mrs. Bùi Thị Phương (Dharma name: Diệu Đức).
Her generosity provided the foundation for Andy to carry meaningful action back to his family’s homeland.
🛠 Items Delivered to the Community
In the presence of local residents, extended family members, Commune Secretary Mr. Bùi Đức Điềm, and the Hamlet Leader, the team completed:
• 40 public stone benches with QR codes linking to free first-aid resources
• 03 outdoor exercise equipment sets
• 300 meters of inter-hamlet road improvement
🌱 Impact
This activity in Phong Lac Hamlet demonstrates GIVE Sustainable’s ongoing effort to expand first-aid accessibility to communities across Vietnam.
It not only supports daily life in the locality but also marks the growing reach of the Safety Star Program nationwide.
