Connecting generations through Art
“Art allows kids to explore environmental issues in a playful and engaging way.”
GIVE’s first mission is to tell the story of the ocean and its coral reefs. Children are invited to share their drawings of the ocean with us, from their observations to their imagination. We want every child to understand what coral is and recognize the vital role it plays in our ocean—from the food we eat to the oxygen we breathe.
We encourage adolescents, aged 16-18, in our ‘Apprentice’ Program to work alongside 10-year-old ‘Starfish’ kids, who then teach younger kindergarten ‘Babyfish’ children to draw.
This peer-based teaching is highly effective because younger children enjoy learning from older kids more than from adults.
Experienced artists are invited to collaborate with three generations, creating a space where adolescents build leadership, 10-year-olds develop art and teamwork skills, and younger children find inspiration from their older peers.
Can you imagine this world without water?
Be Yeu Bien is a series of creative workshops where kids dive into ocean-themed art, blending education and imagination.
