Ms. Huong Doan is a businesswoman who has quietly supported the success of numerous urban development projects in Vietnam. Her work often happens behind the scenes — where trust, clarity, and long-term vision matter most.

Her journey as a mother shaped her deeply. After her eldest son suffered an accident that halted his brain development, she chose to walk alongside him with quiet strength. That same strength fueled her mission to build two kindergartens for the children of factory workers — schools where even low-income families could access green, clean, and nurturing learning environments.

Drawn to the arts and the human spirit behind creative education, Ms. Huong believes in GIVE’s mission and the idea of giving — not for show, but as a way of life. She believes in sustainable giving, where impact grows from care, not noise.

As Chairperson of the Advisory Board, she helps GIVE build meaningful connections — linking the organization with strategic partners, global networks, and a future shaped by compassion.

My name is Pham Thanh Toan, and as an artist, I believe that art holds the power to communicate beyond words, reaching into the heart where deep connections are made. When I had the opportunity to teach the Starfish kids through the Art Workshop at GIVE Sustainable, I saw firsthand how art could ignite something special in them.

We all have the power of imagination, but we often forget to use it. My goal is to evoke that creativity in each child. Through drawing and painting, they can express their emotions, thoughts, and dreams about the world, especially the ocean, in ways they might not otherwise. By guiding them to tap into their imagination, they begin to understand the beauty of nature and why it needs protection.

Watching these kids realize that their art has the power to inspire others is incredibly fulfilling. Through their imagination and creativity, they’re learning that they can be part of the change the world needs, one brushstroke at a time.

I am Patrick Regalado, a visual artist from the Philippines.

Creativity runs in my blood – with my father being an artist and an art director for a world renowned advertising agency, I grew up in an environment where art is naturally cultivated and nurtured.

Just like music, I have always believed that Art is a universal language.

Regardless of where we came from, what language we speak, which generation we grew up in – art, in forms of colors, lines and out of the box thinking, unite us in a beautiful way through limitless self expression.

I also believe that our only limit is our imagination. We can explore, utilize and maximize the power of art as much as we can, for as long as we can and however we can. At this point in my life, I am moving towards educating the next generation on making meaningful artworks that will later on leave a legacy not only on creativity but on social responsibility.

This is why I am motivated to pass the skills, knowledge & creativity to the kids through art workshops by creating paintings that promote environmental awareness and concern. If we start them early, not only we are creating future artists, but also future environmental warriors and advocates – which is what our planet needs the most.
